Frunze Art School (1974), Far Eastern State Institute of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts (Vladivostok, 1979); Graduated from the Department of Art Education at the Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow (1985). In the 1980s, he taught at the N.K. Krupskaya Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute, served as head of the Department of Painting, dean of the faculty. Participant of regional, republican and international exhibitions. Since 1991, he has lived in Omsk. Lecturer at Omsk State Pedagogical University, professor of the Department of Academic Painting, candidate of pedagogical sciences. Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1991). In 2004, his work "May Morning" was exhibited at the All-Union Art Exhibition "Russia - X" in Moscow. He works in the genres of still life, landscape, portrait and thematic paintings.
