BAPEISOVA BATIMA MOLDABEKKYZY (1920-1996)

Born in March 1920 in the Orda settlement of the former Abai district of the Semipalatinsk region. In 1971, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev, she knitted the terme alasha, baskur-bau and chim shi for Abai's yurt. Until the end of her life, she knitted, spun furs, sewed Kazakh hats and shiks. She made kurak and quilted.

In 1979, she starred in the film "Zhaushy".
