Koylyshev Serikkul Kurmankulovich is a dombra player, kuish-composer, and Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Born on January 1, 1961. Currently, he works as a dombra player in the Nurgisa Tlendiyev Academic Folklore and Ethnographic Orchestra under the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic in Almaty. Serikkul Koylyshev is the author of several songs and kuish, and is one of the artists promoting traditional Kazakh musical art. On May 21, 2022, by Decree No. 899 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serikkul Kurmankulovich Koylyshev was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Kazakhstan" for his outstanding achievements in the field of culture and merits to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
