Oryngozhina Laura Sovetovna

Oryngozhina Laura Sovetovna is a public figure. She was born on August 3, 1964 in the village of Kokbay, Abai district, former Semipalatinsk region.


In 1981-1986 she graduated from the Almaty Pedagogical Institute with a degree in foreign languages.


From September 1, 1986, she worked as an English teacher at the M. Auezov secondary school in the village of Kokbay, Abai district.


From 1987-1989. She worked as the secretary of the District Komsomol Committee.


From 1989-1992, she worked as an English teacher at the M. Auezov secondary school.


From 1992-2001, she was transferred to the position of a German teacher at the boarding school in the village of Karaul.


In 2001, she was appointed director of the district primary school named after B. Baigozhina.


By the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev dated December 9, 2013, she was awarded the Order of "Kurmet".


She has made a significant contribution to the development of the culture of the people of the district, holding cultural events, organizing public works, and has made a significant contribution to the development of the culture and art of the district.


By organizing various events in the district, she has been contributing to the enrichment of the spiritual soul and mind of the younger generation, educating them to be healthy citizens of society, to love and respect their country and land.

Laura Sovetovna has been a member of the art circle since childhood and has been able to combine art and education in life and work. Since the beginning of her career, she has been defending the honor of the district at the district art competition. He has written scripts for performances and performances and has contributed significantly to the successful staging of performances on stage.


Since November 14, 2019, he has been appointed director of the municipal state-owned enterprise "Abay District House of Culture".


In 2022, he was awarded the "Excellence in the Culture Sector" badge of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


As the director of the "Abay District House of Culture", he has made a special contribution to the commissioning of the newly built house of culture in the village of Kengirbay Bi, and has made a significant contribution to the full implementation of repair work and the transfer of cultural centers to the benefit of the people. Today, this cultural center is working normally for the benefit of the people.


He supervised the uninterrupted work of repair work on the "Konyr Aulie" cave, a cultural and historical object listed as one of the 100 sacred and holy objects in our country. He made a special contribution to the transfer of the historical and cultural objects Syrt Kaskabulak, the burial ground of the descendants of Kunanbai Oskenbayuly, and the archive of K. Oskenbayuly to the balance of the Abay district house of culture, and made a significant contribution to the full implementation of the repair work and the transfer of these objects to the benefit of the people.


He made efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of all rural houses of culture and clubs and the district house of culture, and created conditions for the work of artists.


In 2024, Oryngozhina Laura Sovetovna was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Citizen of the Abay district" for her outstanding contribution to the development of the cultural sphere of the Abay district, spiritual nourishment of the people, and the transfer of national art to the future.
