Azamatov Aday Zeynoldaevich Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aday Zeynoldaevich Azamatov was born in 1954 in the village of Nikolaevka (Kentarlau) and has worked at the East Kazakhstan Regional State Kazakh Musical and Drama Theater named after Abay since 1984.

Since that year, he has served as deputy director of the theater, director of the regional scientific and methodological center under the Department of Culture, and head of the city Department of Culture. Since 2005, he has been working as the director of the Abay Theater.

Aday Zeynoldaevich is a well-known figure in the field of art. He has made a great contribution to the development of art in the entire Semey region. Under his leadership, a large number of cultural programs and events were implemented. He achieved significant success in promoting the work of famous artists of the region, the republic, and foreign countries among the people.

Especially the work and good events carried out on the basis of the “Village Years” and “Cultural Heritage” programs, which are being implemented under the instructions of the President of the Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev, find their way into the hearts of the people and make citizens grateful. In 1994, he was awarded the “Kaisar” tobe dance, in 2001, the Letter of Appreciation from the President N.A. Nazarbayev, in 2003, the “Cultural Worker” badge of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2014, he was awarded the Honorary Citizen of the Bayan-Olgei region of Mongolia and the 70th anniversary medal. In 2015, he was awarded the Honorary Citizen of the Zharma district. In 2016, he was awarded the 60th anniversary medal of the Kazakh theater in the Bayan-Olgei region of Mongolia, as well as the “Kurmet” badge. In 2017, he was awarded the “Abai Museum” badge. Today, Aday Azamatov, a distinguished Kazakh citizen, is considered a Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Honorary Citizen of the Zharma District and Mongolia. He worked as the director of the Amre Kashaubayev State Philharmonic.
