Sybanov Bolat Kuntuyuly

Sybanov Bolat Kuntuyuly was born in early 1938 in the village of Izatolla, Zhanasemei district of the former Semipalatinsk region. This is a region that is close to the city, and is rich in all its beauty. Perhaps that is why, during the turbulent times of the twenties and thirties of the last century, a large part of the population, who fled from distant villages, came here to take refuge. Over time, among them, there emerged such famous people as academician-mathematician Toleubai Amanov, a silver medalist in track and field at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the early 60s, Gusman Kosanov, and artists Madeniet Eshekeev and Bolat Sybanov.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that Beken Zhamakayev, whose name was mentioned above, also began his career in this art center, which is considered the sacred cradle of Kazakh theater art. Continuing this story, another pride of Semey, the famous singer and talented composer Tursyngazy Rakhimov, was also an artist who left his mark in the aforementioned theater. Later, their paths crossed at the regional philharmonic. At that time, the only propagandist of Shakarim's songs, Keldenbay Olmesekov, was also continuing his fruitful career there. His older brother, Madeniet Eshekeev, who grew up with him in Izatolla, also stood before Boken. Despite the difference in age of only two years, he never bowed down to his older brother. And we saw that Tursyngazy and Keldenbay honored and respected them as their teachers in the art of singing.

In fact, Bolat is a person who has his own path, a separate path, between the theater and the philharmonic. He also worked at the Almaty Philharmonic earlier. Also, during his years of work at the Amre Kashaubayev Semey Regional Philharmonic, he distinguished himself at the height of art and became widely known to the general public with his unique voice and musical talent. It is true that in those years, the song "Akbulak", which was often sung like a mountain spring, made his name widely known to blood relatives in far and near abroad.

After coming to the Philharmonic, we can say that Bolat's second breath in art was opened. As one proof of this, he promoted the works of famous composers of the people and the Soviet era, and his musical talent also flourished. As another proof of this, the songs "Tan Samal", "Gashyktar Termesi", "Ansa Zhanym", "Ozim Turala En", "Zhayna Semey", "Zhuldyzym" were born one after another.

Among these, the song dedicated to his beloved wife Umit is also special. The total number of songs that he composed from his heart is more than sixty. We hear that our compatriots living abroad, including in our own country, Turkey, China, Mongolia, Germany, and Sweden, not only listen to them with love, but also perform them themselves.
