Amangeldy Mamarkalievich Chaev

Amangeldy Mamarkalievich Chaev, born in 1958 in the village of Makanshi, former Semipalatinsk region. In 1980, he graduated from the M. Tolebayev Music College in Semey with a degree in "flautist". In 1985, he received the badge of the laureate of the "All-Union Competition of Art Enthusiasts" dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. In 1987, he was awarded the medal "Laureate of the Second All-Union Festival of Folk Art Dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the Great Kazan Socialist Revolution". Until he joined the district "Kozy Korpesh - Bayan Sulu" cultural center in 1998, Amangeldy Mamarkalievich, who showed the value of Kazakh art, performed on tours abroad as a member of the Makanshi district "Inzhu Marzhan" ensemble. Laureate of republican and regional competitions, a specialist in the promotion of ancient instruments.


A. Chaev is not only a flute player. An educated musician who has mastered musical instruments such as sybyzgy, trumpet, bayan and dombra. He was a distinguished artist of the "Kozy Korpesh" folk drama theater at the district "Kozy Korpesh - Bayan Sulu" cultural center. In 2022, he was awarded the "Excellence in Culture" badge of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently retired.
