Mukhamediyev Mukhametqazy Mukhamediuly (05.11.1937) – scholar, ethnographer, historian, local historian, educator.

Mukhametqazy Mukhamediuly was born on November 5, 1937, in the village of Sibeti, located in the Shaueshik district of the Tarbagatai region of the People's Republic of China.

In 1957, he graduated with honors from the History-Geography Faculty of Xinjiang University in Urumqi and worked as a teacher at this institution until 1961. In 1961, he moved to Kazakhstan and became a teacher at the Ortabulak secondary school in the Zharma district of Semey region. He also actively participated in cultural and public activities, working as a promoter and newspaper correspondent.

In 1963, he organized the first local history club called "Atameken" within the school in Semey region, educating students to cherish the history of their homeland. In 1968, he opened the first local history museum at a school in the district. This initiative was disseminated to schools across the republic through the regional education department as a model, and in 1988, it won a prize at the national local history competition held in Turkestan city.

During the Soviet era, he researched issues of national history that were considered closed topics, identifying the burial site of Er Zhanibek Berdauletuly in the Kalba mountains and contributing to its inclusion in the historical monuments fund of the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences (25.05.2007). He also discovered Orkhon–Yenisei inscriptions and marked stones in the Zharma region and brought them into scientific circulation. In 1984, these discoveries were recognized as new data contributing to Kazakh science in the journal "Bilim zhane Eneg" (Education and Labor).

He promoted the healing properties of the Arasan lake discovered by the first national doctor Duysembi Kalmatayev and was instrumental in the establishment of a sanatorium on its shores. In 1987-1988, he led the opening of the district museum in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Zharma district, collecting valuable ethnographic artifacts from the local community.

In 1987, he founded the literary-ethnic club "Murager" with the aim of reviving language and tradition, serving as its chairman and host. Prominent figures such as A. Nurshaikhov, M. Magauin, O. Suleimenov, and R. Rymbaeva participated in the club's activities, and this initiative was highly valued as a herald of national spirituality on the eve of independence.

Since 1997, he has worked in Semey city, organizing a school museum at the №37 Kazakh gymnasium. From 2001 to 2003, he taught history and ethnography at the Mukhan Tolebaev Musical College. Starting in 2009, he worked as a lecturer at higher education institutions in Semey.

Mukhametqazy Mukhamediuly established scientific connections with the branches of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Urumqi and published his work titled "Shakarim's Wisdom" in 2008. He conducted extensive research on topics such as the Kazakh diaspora in China, the fate of Shakarim's son Ziyat, and the history of the struggle against the Dzungar invasion. His work "Secrets of Marked Stones" was included in the collection "Historical Values" and received an award.

The scholar-educator has published over 400 scientific articles on national history, the Alash movement, customs and traditions, heroes and historical figures, and geographical names. For his teaching work, he was awarded the title of "Excellence in People's Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

He is a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, a recipient of the "Labor Veteran" medal, the Honorary Certificate of the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan, and the "Er Zhanibek" medal. He also wrote a book about the hero of the Great Patriotic War, Kapai Iskakov, and compiled the collection "Bir Tuar" dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Shokan Ualikhanov. He translated Alash publications and archival plays from Arabic script into scientific circulation.
