Abugazin Kanat Kazenuly

Biography
Abugazin Kanat Kazenuly was born in 1967 in the village of Aksuat, Abay region.
In 1985-89, I entered the cultural and educational school in Sarkant, Taldykorgan region, majoring in the leader of the folk instrument orchestra of art circles, and in 2020, I graduated from the music faculty of the Shakarim University in Semey.
In 1990-2001, I was the chief dombra player of the folk instrument orchestra named after B. Sayatulekov at the district house of culture, in 2001-2013, I worked as a music director and teacher of singing and singing at Sasan bi, Yu. Gagarin, Aksuat secondary schools No. 2, and successfully worked in providing musical education to the younger generation. Since 2014, I have been the artistic director of the A. Magzumov "Sulu Saz" folk folklore ensemble and the "Babalar Sazy" folk ethno ensemble at the Aksuat House of Culture.
As a professional, I am considered a creative person who has contributed to the replenishment of the orchestra and ensemble repertoire with new works. I am a teacher and promoter of Kazakh national and ancient instruments /zhetigen, dombra, kyl kobyz, cherter, three-stringed dombra/.
I am a specialist who can creatively master the conducting of works of folk art groups in various genres, write scores, reveal the essence of works, and improve performing skills. I have been working on the revival of ancient relics from the singing schools of "Altai-Tarbagatai" such as folk songs "Bulgyn Susar", "Kara Zhorga", "Ush Teke", etc.
In 2014, he was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kurmangazy Academic State Orchestra of Folk Instruments, for his contribution to the development of children's creativity, in 2014, a diploma from the VII International Competition "Ak Kogershin" held in Astana at the 1st International Children's Festival / for artistic direction, in 2016, a letter of gratitude from the Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region, in 2017, a certificate of honor from the Akim of the district, in 2018, a letter of gratitude from the Tehran Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran for his participation in the "Kazakhstan Culture in the World" project, in 2019, a letter of gratitude from the Rector of the Uly-Dag University in Bursa, Turkey, for his creative work in promoting ancient Kazakh national instruments abroad, a letter of gratitude for participating in the XII International "Sharq Taronalari" music festival in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and a laureate of the Republican "Gauhartas" festival of orchestras and ensembles dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Segiz Seri, In 2019, I was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2025, I participated in the "Nauryz" celebration organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Paris and the "Abai" Center in the Val-d'Oise department of the Ile-de-France administrative region of France, and performed in Paris. In April 2025, as part of the "Babalar Sazy" folk ethno ensemble, I participated in the Republican Festival of Creative Collectives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, held by the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of "30 Years of Unity and Harmony", and was awarded in the "Folk Instruments" nomination.
In 2022, I became the owner of the "Excellence in the Cultural Industry" badge of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in 2025, the "Excellence in the Cultural Industry" badge of the Kazakhstani Trade Union of Industry Workers of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Information.
