Information about the Kökentau Rural Club under the “Department of Internal Policy, Culture, Language Development and Sports of the Abai Region, Zhanasemey District”

The building of the “Apparatus of the Akim of the Kökentau Rural District of the Zhanasemey District, Abai Region” has been rented and has been serving the public for over 16 years. The enterprise operates with 2 staff positions. The Kökentau Rural Club was established in 2009. Its main focus is to organize cultural events for the village residents and to regularly hold commemorative dates and professional holidays. Currently, there is a dance group for children (15 children) and an ensemble called “Asyl Azhyeler” for adults (11 people). There are plans to add more groups in the future. In 2025, 70 events were planned and held, involving 1408 people.

In August 2019, major repairs were carried out on the enterprise building. A heating stove was installed, and windows and doors were replaced. A poured floor was laid, and linoleum was installed. A cold corridor was built at the entrance of the building. The ceiling was leveled, and finishing works were carried out.
