Introduction

The City Culture Palace was opened in 1951 by the decision of the Semey Regional Executive Committee. This cultural palace, which brings together representatives of many nationalities, has a unique place in the life of our city.

The goal of the City Culture Palace is to instill in youth and adolescents the significant national educational value of stage art, as well as to contribute to the meaningful use of a person's free time. The members of the team, who tirelessly work to organize various cultural programs and showcase talented children to the public, are opening up the horizons of Semey artists and introducing them to the people. Various art competitions on different themes are held here at all times. The Culture Palace has 24 groups with the title of "People's", and 43 amateur art groups that are honing their skills. The number of participants is 1886, including 11 children's groups with 190 children under the age of 14. There are 4 amateur clubs with 140 participants. The participants of the traditional Song class number 10. The number of groups with the title of "People's" is 24, with a total of 483 participants.

Additionally, in this artistic institution, notable figures such as Gabdulkhak Akhunzhanov, who has contributed to the Tatar people, cultural figure Dametken Omarbaeva, Gulkhaysha Aubakirova, and cultural sector leaders Alexander Barabanov, Guldana Nogaybaeva, and Gulbaram Mustafina are working.
