State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District

History of the Archive.

According to the decision No. 120-5 of the Semey Regional Executive Committee dated 15.05.1990 on "The organization of interdepartmental economic accounting archives in Borodulikhinsky and Novo-Shulba districts," the Executive Committee of the People's Council of Borodulikhinsky District decided to open the Borodulikhinsky District Archive as a separate legal entity.

In accordance with the order No. 215r of the First Deputy of the Semey Region Akimat dated 22.04.1992, the order was issued to accept the staff of the Borodulikhinsky District Archive into the District Administration and to finance it from the local budget as the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District.

On 26.12.1997, the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District was registered with the Justice Department of East Kazakhstan Region /4774-1917-U-e Certificate of state registration as a legal entity/.

On 10.01.2005, according to the order of the head of the East Kazakhstan Region Archives and Documentation Department No. 1 "On renaming the district state archives of the region," it was named the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District of East Kazakhstan Region. It was transferred to regional funding.

From 10.01.2005 to 23.01.2012, it was the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District of East Kazakhstan Region.

From 23.01.2012 to 23.09.2013, it was the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District.

From 23.09.2013 to 08.07.2016, it was the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of East Kazakhstan Region.

From 08.07.2016 to 02.11.2020, it was the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of East Kazakhstan Region.

From 03.11.2020 to 17.09.2022, it was the State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District of the Digitalization and Archives Department of East Kazakhstan Region.

Since 17.09.2022, it has been referred to as the communal state institution "State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District" of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of Abylai Region.

The State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District is located in the village of Borodulikha, Borodulikhinsky District, Abylai Region.

The state archive is a legal entity, has a seal, and exercises all rights as a legal entity.

The main tasks and functions of the archive:

1. Conducting state centralized accounting of documents belonging to the national archival fund.

2. Compiling document complexes, ensuring their preservation and accounting.

3. Organizing state expertise of the value of documents according to scientific, historical, cultural, social-legal, and other needs to determine the storage period of documents accumulated in the district.

4. Accepting documents in departmental storage and conducting their arrangement.

5. Fulfilling citizens' social-legal requests.

6. Providing methodological and practical assistance in documenting and managing documentation for organizations and institutions with departmental storage.

7. Providing information about archival documents through the press and radio, organizing exhibitions, etc.

8. Publishing collections of documents for anniversaries and other celebrations.

Two exhibitions were organized with the archive staff: a photo-documentary exhibition titled "No One and Nothing is Forgotten" and a photo exhibition titled "Joy that Came with Tears." During the arrangement of the exhibition, personal documents of eight WWII veterans in state storage were used, and in April, archivists from the state archive conducted three lessons for students of Borodulikhinsky District schools.

The photo-documentary exhibition featured the most interesting documents from the archive collections: biographies of veterans, their military and Komsomol tickets, certificates of military service, documents regarding injuries sustained during the war and treatment in hospitals, award documents, letters of thanks and congratulations, newspaper articles, etc.

The photo exhibition included family photographs of veterans during the war years, their labor and public-political activities, and a collection of the district newspaper "Lenin's Path" from the years 1941-1945.

Description of Collections

Foss Tamara Petrovna - an outstanding figure in education in the USSR, an outstanding figure in education of the Kazakh SSR, director of N. Ostrovsky Secondary School, deputy of the district Maslikhat. The collection No. 142 of T.P. Foss from 1940-2004 contains 19 storage units. It includes documents about her biography, labor and public-political activities, awards, and articles.

Yremenko Vasily Vasilyevich - Hero of Socialist Labor, WWII veteran, honorary citizen of Borodulikhinsky District. The collection No. 149 of V. Yremenko from 1923-2005 contains 30 storage units. The documents include his biography, labor and public-political activities, awards, anniversaries, congratulations, publications, and film documents.

Nikulsina Nina Fedorovna - medical worker, WWII veteran, honorary citizen of Borodulikhinsky District. The collection No. 154 of N.F. Nikulsina contains 27 storage units from 1923-2005. It includes documents about her biography, labor and public-political activities, awards, anniversaries, congratulations, publications, and photographs.

Rymzhanov Taupyk - teacher, writer, honorary citizen of Borodulikhinsky District. The personal collection No. 162 of T. Rymzhanov contains documents from 1937-2008: biography, labor and public activities, photographs, and film documents. There are a total of 31 storage units.

Linnik Alexey Andreevich - first virgin land cultivator, forestry director, WWII veteran, honorary citizen of Borodulikhinsky District. The collection No. 165 of A.A. Linnik from 1918-2008 contains 34 storage units. This collection includes documents about his biography, labor and public-political activities, publications, and photographs.

Esimkhanov Gabass Esimkhanuly (born in 1922) - WWII veteran, soldier of the 100th Rifle Brigade, comrade of the Hero of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova, and writer Azilkhan Nurshaikhov. Chairman of the Proletarka Village Council, agronomist of the Pushkin Collective Farm in Borodulikhinsky District, honorary citizen of Borodulikhinsky District. The collection No. 166 of G.E. Esimkhanov contains 28 storage units. The documents include his biography, labor and public activities.

Chekalin Anatoly Mikhailovich (1922-2003) - WWII veteran, reserve officer, accountant of the "Aul" sanatorium. The collection No. 170 of A.N. Chekalin from 1937-2002 contains 14 storage units. The collection includes his personal documents.

Requests and Indicators

The communal state institution "State Archive of Borodulikhinsky District" of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of Abylai Region provides state services for "Issuing Archival Certificates" to individuals and legal entities.

The archive performs state services in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the consideration of applications from individuals and legal entities" and "On state services."

State services are provided through the Public Service Centers, the electronic government web portal "E-Archive," and the office of the state archive.

In 2025, a total of 1744 social-legal requests were fulfilled. Of these, 1426 were from individuals, 318 from legal entities, with 1286 receiving positive responses and 458 negative responses.

- etc. - 284.

From the CIS countries, 308 requests were fulfilled, with 263 receiving positive responses and 45 negative responses.

Thirteen visitors registered to work in the reading room, and 485 cases were provided.

About 53 visitors were received. Additionally, consultations were provided over the phone.
