History of the Language Teaching Center

The "State and Other Languages Teaching Center of Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region" was established based on the decree No. 2318 dated November 26, 2007, as a communal state treasury enterprise under the Department of Language Development of East Kazakhstan Region.

The "State and Other Languages Teaching Center of Borodulikhinsky District, East Kazakhstan Region" was reorganized into a communal state institution based on the decree No. 48 of the Borodulikhinsky District Akimat dated March 24, 2017.

According to the decree No. 887 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 2022, due to the establishment of Abai Region, it was reorganized from the "State Institution of Culture, Language Development, Physical Education, and Sports of Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region" into the "State and Other Languages Teaching Center of Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region" communal state institution.

The center's building is located at 154 Dostyk Street in Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region. The total area of the building is 50.5 square meters.

There are 4 branches under the State and Other Languages Teaching Center of Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region.

Activities of the Language Teaching Center

The Language Teaching Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) operates with the aim of language acquisition, implementing state language policy, and enhancing linguistic competence.

The main activities of the Center include:

1. Organizing and conducting courses for teaching the state language, Russian, English, and Tatar languages.

2. Conducting testing to determine the language proficiency level of students and providing level-based training.

3. Developing, improving, and utilizing educational programs, teaching-methodological tools, and learning materials.

4. Organizing practical classes, training sessions, and language clubs aimed at developing language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

5. Conducting language courses focused on professional and business communication.

6. Conducting final assessments based on learning outcomes and issuing certificates in accordance with established procedures.

7. Organizing cultural, educational, and methodological events aimed at expanding the use of the state language.

8. Providing consultations and methodological support on language teaching issues.

• Events and classes: The Center's teachers conduct events, classes, thematic competitions, and campaigns according to the approved plan.

Use of modern technologies in the Language Teaching Center:

Modern information and communication technologies are widely used in the Language Teaching Center to enhance the quality of education, effectively organize the learning process, and develop students' linguistic competence.

The use of modern technologies in the Center is implemented in the following areas:

1. Using multimedia tools (interactive whiteboards, audio and video materials, presentations) in the learning process.

2. Introducing online and blended learning formats (distance learning platforms, webinars, video lessons).

3. Utilizing electronic learning resources, digital textbooks, and online platforms.

4. Applying electronic testing systems to determine and monitor students' knowledge levels.

5. Using mobile applications and internet resources aimed at developing language skills.

6. Developing, storing, and distributing educational materials in digital format.

7. Organizing methodological support and training events to enhance teachers' digital competencies.

8. Providing technical support for the learning process while ensuring information security requirements are met.

• The State and Other Languages Teaching Center of Borodulikhinsky District, Abai Region actively publishes information on its Instagram: boroduliha_til_ortalygy.

• Articles are published in the local newspaper "Zhana Uakit," and in the media outlets sayipqiran.kz and anyqtaime.kz.

• Annually, according to the approved plan, events, open classes, campaigns, and competitions, intellectual games, and round tables are held, which is an effective way to promote the center.

Staff Composition

The Center has a staff of 8.25, including 14 people comprising teachers and technical staff. The Center employs qualified teachers with extensive experience.

On September 4, in honor of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, an intellectual game titled "Quick Mind and Eloquent Speech" was held organized by the linguistic center of Abai Region. Teachers from the language teaching centers of Borodulikhinsky, Beskaragay, Kökpekti districts, and the city of Kurchatov participated in the cognitive competition. As a result of the intellectual game, teachers from Borodulikhinsky District were awarded the "Alash Star" nomination and won the grand prize. At the regional festival "Language - Symbol of Unity" dedicated to the birthday of Akhmet Baitursynuly, several language advocates from our district were awarded. For his contribution to the development of language policy, Serik Abilkasymluly, who worked at the Borodulikhinsky District State and Other Languages Teaching Center, was awarded the badge named after Akhmet Baitursynuly, and the center director M. Ataeva received the "Honorary Certificate" from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for 2025 and the "Labor Glory" badge from the Trade Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, B. Rakhymbaev, a teacher of the state language in Zhezkent town, was awarded a letter of gratitude from the regional department of culture and language development and archival affairs. D. Murat, a teacher of the state language, was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Akimat of Borodulikhinsky District.

State language teacher Mokroutova Victoria Anatolyevna is the winner of the 1st place in the regional competition "State Language - Symbol of Independence."

She is also the 2nd place winner in the regional competition "Best Teacher."

Ykhlasova Asel Zhenisovna, a teacher of the state language at the Novopokrovka Rural District branch, is the winner of the Republican "Best Teacher - 2017" competition and holds the title of "Best Teacher - 2017." She received a 1st degree diploma at the Republican "Festival of Pedagogical Ideas" competition, a 1st degree diploma at the scientific-practical conference "The Teaching Personality of K. Bitibayev and the Status of the Teacher," a 1st degree diploma at the "Wise Teacher" Republican Olympiad, and a 2nd degree diploma at the "PedStart" Olympiad.

The Center's students also actively participate in regional and district events, campaigns, and competitions.

A regional competition titled "State Language - Symbol of Independence" was held among representatives of other nationalities who have mastered the state language. Students of the Center, Shcherbakova Veronika and Mamedova Laila Adgyozalovna, participated and were awarded letters of gratitude and gifts.
